Test Days at Torino Marathon

The unrelenting rain of the day before, did not in anyway discourage the runners at the start of the Turin Marathon 2014 , last Sunday November 16. Toeing the line of the “wetproof” race, grip-conscious minimalist running fans like marathoner Fabrizio Tonolo (who finished the race in 2h58m in his favourite Vibram FiveFingers® Trek Sport) and Sport2Win Trainer Sergio Benzio who finished in a handful of seconds over 3 hours. Follow his impressions of the Vibram FiveFingers® Bikila EVO, which were preferred on the course which also saw the testing of the Vibram® Vybrid , with both new platforms compared to the Vibram FiveFingers® Trek Sport: “Really well for the EVOs, the feel of the fit, the sole’s response to all changes in the terrains. I had the impression of great efficiency, with an ‘easy and productive’ running style, and with the wich not to take them off my feet.” The Educational activities in the Marathon Exhibitor Village, with Vibram Staff members and the much welcomed visit by Trailrunning Team Vibram® Stefano Ruzza , framed and provided the technical support for a prestigious performance, in the vein of minimalist performance…which was also very wet!
