Ultra-Trail World Tour 2014 Awards

Closing Ceremony Wednesday November 19 at the Forum des Halles in Paris for the Ultra-Trail World Tour 2014 : 500 guests (press, athletes, partners, VIPs) celebrated a wonderful year in the name of the ultra-trail. During the evening it was also announced the 2015 calendar : 11 races, including a "new entry": the 2014 Ultra-Trail Eiger. A brand new idea was also the "future races” category, that means to ones worthy to enter the circuit as soon as possible. First on the list, the Madeira Island Ultra Trail (MIUT). During the awards ceremony they were shown the amazing images from the different races held in 2014 : an invitation to travel and discovery. Awarded the two winners of the circuit : the French Francois d'Haene and the Catalan Nuria Picas. Vibram distinguished itself on many sides as part of the Ultra Tour World Tour 2014: placing two athletes of the Trailrunning Team Vibram® in the top 10 ranking: Javier Dominguez Ledo (7th among men) and Uxue Fraile Azpeitia (5th among women) through its partnership with the races of the Ultra Trail World Tour : HK100 Vibram, Vibram Tarawera and UTMB® through continuous exposure at the races , thanks to the strong presence of its athletes and to its communication activities aiming to promote the brand’s image in these contexts featuring action on the field.
